Ryan D. Sparks, DMD

I am proud to be a native Oregonian who grew up in West Linn and graduated from West Linn High School. I went on to attend Oregon State University, where I met my amazing wife, Jenny. I truly enjoyed my four years at Oregon State University and I am a Beaver believer for life. After graduating, I completed my dental training at Oregon Health Science University School of Dentistry, earning my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1999. My wife and I returned to Corvallis at that time to begin my dental practice.

We now have three wonderful children, Sam, Sophia, and Harrison. I love Corvallis, and it is a great place to raise a family. We are avid Oregon State University supporters, and we love hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. I personally enjoy weight lifting, softball, basketball, traveling, reading, and most importantly, giving back to my community.

I am an active member in good standing of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Oregon Dental Association (ODA), the Southern Willamette Dental Society (SWDS), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). I am also a member and Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).

Cindy – Dental Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist in the Corvallis area for several years. I took a few years off to stay home with my two children. When I decided to return to work, I applied here and was hired by Dr. Ryan D. Sparks in September 2006. I truly love working here.

I live in Philomath with my husband Jay, son Chase, and daughter Paige. We enjoy camping and Beaver football. After running my kids from activity to activity, I might find time for my hobby, beading, which I am passionate about. I enjoy making bracelets, earrings, and necklaces.

Rachel – Registered Dental Hygienist

Rachel received her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Salem. She is dedicated to helping her patients improve their oral health, performing gentle and thorough dental cleanings and helping them find a routine to take care of their oral health at home between appointments. She joined our team in 2019, and enjoys her energetic and fun coworkers as well as meeting and getting to know our patients.

Rachel and her husband, Jimmy, have two wonderful children, Levi and Hadley. Outside the office, she enjoys running, baking, gardening with her kids and doing anything active outdoors.

Michelle – Dental Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist in Corvallis since 2006, and I joined Dr. Sparks’ team in 2019. I grew up here in the Willamette Valley and attended Oregon Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. My husband is a teacher, and we have three small children who keep us very busy.

Kelly – Dental Hygienist

Kelly has been a dental hygienist since 1980 and joined our team in August 2020. She enjoys continuing her education to further benefit her patients and finds it incredibly important to educate patients about their oral and physical health and how they can improve both. She is dedicated to providing patients with the thorough, gentle care they need to maintain a healthy smile. Kelly adores her coworkers and the friendships that have been created. The longer she has been with our team the more she enjoys the increased communication, education and familiarity with patients, as well as the high standards of care we maintain and the compassion and empathy we show towards our patients. Kelly considers herself fortunate to be part of Dr. Sparks’ team.

Kelly has three married sons and a stepdaughter, and three grandchildren. She enjoys baking and enjoys feeding people even more! Kelly often shares her passion by bringing baked goods to the office to share with our team. She also loves to travel, and lives with Baloo and Peco, her pets.

Molly – Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Corvallis. I graduated from Lane Community College in dental hygiene and joined Dr. Sparks practice shortly after. I truly love what I do and the people I work with! In my free time, I love spending time with my four kids and husband. We love going to soccer games, participating in 4H, gardening, fishing, and going camping, to name a few. I also have a passion for music and play the trumpet in various orchestras around Oregon.

Carla – Dental Assistant

I have been part of our dental team since August 2005 as a certified dental assistant. I obtained my education at Linn Benton Community College. I enjoy my volunteer work with Northwest Medical Teams.

My husband and I enjoy riding horses, hunting, and fishing together.

Susie – Dental Assistant

I have been part of our dental team since February 2007. I enjoy making people smile.

My husband is a pastor in Corvallis. We have three children. I enjoy running, outdoor activities, and sunshine!

Cassie – Dental Assistant

I grew up on the coast in the small town of Toledo. I graduated from the dental assisting program at LBCC. I joined Dr. Ryan D. Sparks’s team in the fall of 2015. In my spare time, I enjoy baking and being outdoors.

Saima – Dental Assistant

Saima graduated from the LBCC dental assisting program in 2021 and joined Dr. Sparks’ team in March 2023. She loves taking good care of her patients, and assists Dr. Sparks with many procedures and with taking care of the sterilization area.

Outside the office, Saima enjoys reading a good book and spending quality time with her family. She also speaks three languages and enjoys Bollywood movies!

Sarah – Scheduling Coordinator
Sarah joined our team in May 2023, and loves all the new friends she has made at our practice. She loves helping people and making them feel at home in our office.

Sarah has been married for 27 years and has five children and one dog. She homeschooled her children for 22 years before returning to the workforce and joining our team. Her family enjoys game nights, trying new foods from around the world and getting together to spend time with friends and family. Outside the office, Sarah’s hobbies include going for walks, reading great books of all genres and repurposing thrift store finds.

Michelle – Financial Coordinator

Michelle earned her dental assisting degree from Apollo College in 1992 and joined our team in July 2023, where she currently works as our financial coordinator. Michelle has a broad range of skills in the dental field that extend to both the back and front office, and she always feels accomplished when she can help our patients with their dental needs. She enjoys being with a team that genuinely cares about each other and loves the laughter and friendliness of our office.

Michelle grew up in Milwaukie, Oregon. Her family is her biggest priority, and she loves spending time with her husband, adult children, grandson and dog. She also enjoys road trips, going to concerts, visiting the Oregon coast and attending church.

Marit – Insurance Coordinator

Marit joined our team in July 2024 and enjoys the close-knit feel of our team and working with friends each day. In addition to helping our patients with insurance, Marit brings laughter and joy to our practice. She is also a licensed esthetician in the state of Oregon.

Marit and her partner have three dogs. Her hobbies include reading, attending concerts, paddleboarding and exploring with her dogs.
